You are invited to join the “UnMasked” a masquerade fundraising party to celebrate survivors of child sexual abuse.  A presentation of Word & Action, Inc. in collaboration with the Office of State Representative Daphne Campbell on February 27, 2015 at the Little Haiti Cultural Center Caribbean Market Place on 212 NE 59th Terrace, Miami FL.  Doors open at 7:30pm.

Word and Action, Inc. (W&A) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that aims to prevent and/or decrease the occurrence of child sexual abuse in our community.​ W&A promotes a culturally-based approach to child sexual abuse prevention and treatment while expanding its partnership and network nationally and internationally.

W&A is dedicated to respecting, honoring, protecting, and healing the children and families we serve.

Child-victims and their family will be taught safety measures against sexual predators. Also, they will learn how to cope with the trauma related to sexual abuse.

Our parents will be educated about child sexual abuse and the most effective ways to protect their children. Our families will also learn about the symptoms pertaining to the trauma.
